How to kill competitor’s website in Google top
This topic has appeared on WebmasterWorld. User has published a list of methods which can strongly impair competitor’s website position in Google Top. Here some of them:
* Links to website from “bad” places
* Hundreds links from one IP address
* Duplicated content:
- competitors steal your content and on the basis of it do their own
- competitors steal your articles and post them in article directories
* 301/302 redirect - hijacking (yes, unfortunately, it still happens)
There are many other ways. Whether it could happened to your website. I think, a possibility is very high. And whether such bad thing can happens with an old respectful website with a big authority? Gurus said it can.
If track last statements of Google representatives we any more do not hear a phrase “it is impossible”, and even more often “very probable” or “practically it is not obviously possible”.
