Here some useful tips:
1. Write unique and interesting posts
One of the main factors, no doubt – it is necessary to write about interesting, new, actual things. People read only those blogs which give them more than some interesting information and tell them about things that not present in other Internet resources.
2. Be closer to readers
Your readers would like, that you answered their questions, responded to their emails etc. Just make a special webpage of contacts where simply to specify ways of communication with you. It is possible to respond to an interesting question, even having written about it a whole post.
3. Ask opinions of readers on post’s subjects
Many readers like to know about things you be going to write in the future, things that you will prefer in a near future. You can write planned subjects for your posts and to ask readers, what is more interesting to them or even to create some poll.
4. Refer to your readers blogs
Usually many readers have also own blogs. Referring to their blogs and telling about them in posts, you will make these readers grateful and then they will treat you better and stay on your blog for a long time.
5. Post received articles
One of the best ways to make your blog better is to place articles sent by readers. They will be grateful to you and probably in the future will send more articles, and you will receive an interesting content. Certainly, you won’t need to publish all received articles, only the most necessary and interesting in your opinion.
6. Communicate with readers in comments
Visitors of a blog write comments and hope to receive any response from you. If you respond to comments or just thank for a response, next time they will necessarily write more comments.
7. Write comments on blogs of your readers
When a reader write a comment it usually publish a link to his blog. You should go to that link, to observe, read and write your own comments. Let this person understand that you came and looked through his blog, he will be very glad.
8. Give your readers a chance to became popular
You can help your readers to meet other bloggers. It can lead to good cooperation and friendship between them. Only it is not necessary to make a forum, you only will push away them from your blog. If you install such widget and top commentators will be shown in blog menu, it will stimulate readers to make comments, discuss, express their opinion, especially if the quantity of written comments is shown and it became commenter’s competition. 10. Clean “NoFollow” tags
One more reason to write a comment is a link to a website or a blog but if this link is in “nofollow” tag, desire to make comments will disappear very fast. Therefore clean this tag from comments. For WordPress it is possible to install DoFollow plug-in.
